The main purpose of this job is to facilitate delivery, return, fitting, reprocessing and provide use care instruction for the proper DME rehabilitation equipment ordered, most commonly Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) machines. PSRs also serve to complete, collect, and submit documentation and payment upon set-up and create Raving Fans that are referenceable to the referral source. Ideal for a sports medicine, kinesiology, exercise science, athletic training or physical therapy student. Material Responsibilities/ Essential Duties/Functions/Tasks Deliver, fit and train patients use of all JIMM rehabilitation products according to the physicians orders. Inform patients of their cost responsibility, execute patient contracts, collect payments, establish payment plans, complete and return all required documentation to facilitate timely billing. Document chain of custody of all inventory items in accordance with inventory procedures, resulting in accurate manifests. Complete other required documentation including fitter and mileage logs as well as time tracking within the HRIS system. Pick up and reprocessing equipment, as needed, to maintain sufficient inventory. Assembly of patient documentation folders when not fitting patients. Serve on-call for weekday, after hours, and weekend coverage. Maintain valid driver license and required liability auto insurance to drive from office and/or warehouse to patient locations and back, using your own safe and reliable properly insured vehicle. Remain compliant with established policies and procedures. Will consider full time benefit package eligible and part-time positions. High School diploma or equivalent, patient care and some customer service experience and/or education in sports medicine, kinesiology, exercise science, athletic training and physical therapy preferred. Computer, tablet and smart phone proficiency. Ability to navigate Microsoft Windows operating and file systems. Ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to independently life up to 50 lbs. Maintain own responsible and safe transportation and valid driver license along with the required liability automobile insurance. This job entails a great deal of driving an automobile and some warehouse and or home office environment administrative tasks often performing tasks on a computer, smart phone and tablet . Involves a good amount of sitting and/or standing for long periods of time. While fitting, one often needs to kneel and/or squat in a patient's home or facility environment.
