Do you have expertise in mechanistic pharmacology, cell biology, biophysics and chemoproteomics? If you have experience enabling flow schemes, directing research strategy and have a solid understanding of the drug discovery process we're looking for your expertise. We'd love for you to be a part of our efforts!Some key responsibilities in this role:Provide support and expertise to drug discovery programs across different therapeutic areas, from target validation to clinical candidate selection.Lead project strategy and direction in collaboration with the Therapeutic Area, Chemistry and Structural Biology.Determine options for hit identification approaches.Investigate molecular mechanisms leading to pharmacological effect as well as the mode of action of compounds at cellular level.Design workplans for target enablement as well as flow-schemes for project progressionFollow up clinical observations and work backward to uncover their mechanistic basis.Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams, presenting scientific data in support of research projects.QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:Ph.D. in biochemistry, cell biology, molecular pharmacology or related subject areas, with a strong publication record.6 or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry beyond education or trainingAdditional preferred skills:Strong capability to collaborate with scientist in multiple disciplinesExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong work ethic. Scientific curiosity.
