Crowe is looking for motivated individuals to join its Healthcare Consulting practice. This person will be responsible for developing deep specialization in hospital reimbursement for related client service delivery, as well as participate in and be excited about the application of technology and differential solutions to solve hospital reimbursement challenges and needs. The ideal candidate would come with a desire to thrive in a hospital and health system consulting environment with goals of solving problems for our clients and helping contribute to the future growth of the business. This person would possess strong analytical skills, an ownership mindset, and a commitment to teamwork. Travel requirement - up to 50%. Crowe Healthcare Delivery Unit: Has an exceptional client base, including virtually all of the largest not-for-profit and for-profit health systems, as well as many prominent academic medical centers and regional health systems. Healthcare is a key growth industry for Crowe. Qualifications 5 years in consulting organization or hospital and health system environment. Bachelors degree required. CPA license preferred but not required. Must have strong analytical skills and familiarity with working with complex financial data sets. Must have attention to detail and ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment. Requires strong written and verbal communication including effective presentation skills. Must be able to work independently and with a team in a primarily virtual environment. Deep expertise in Healthcare financial accounting and reimbursement, including but not limited to: third party reserve calculations, DRG transfer review, Medicare & Medicaid Cost Reporting, 990 calculations, Worksheet S-10 reporting, cost report preparation, DSH, Medicare bad debts, etc. Must have a solid reputation and references with previous employers, clients, contacts, etc. Must possess a design mindset and be motivated by solving Reimbursement goals through cutting edge technological methods.
