The Distribution Associate, Inbound accurately performs receiving duties for the distribution center. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesObtains assignment in start up meetingUnloads, inspects, counts, and signs for inbound packages and pallets from carriersPrints the purchase order that corresponds to the product being receivedMatches product received to purchase orderFollows process for over, short, incorrect item, or damagesAssociate is expected to meet Productivity and Quality objectivesAdhere to Distribution Center attendance policyAlerts the Lead or Supervisor to any irregularities in the product inventory or processes (i.e. count and location errors, product shortages and product damage)Maintains the housekeeping standardsStages product to be put awayKeeps the distribution center aisles clear and maintains integrity of storage locations;Maintains the housekeeping and sanitation standards of the distribution centerPerforms duties at or above productivity and accuracy standardsSupports the company goals for quality and continuous improvementContributes to an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation among all distribution center staffOperate forklift or other material handling equipmentPerforms other duties as assignedJob QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience in a high volume Distribution CenterAbility to accurately enter and look up information in computerBasic Understanding of distribution principlesAbility to perform work accurately and thoroughlyAbility to multi-taskWorking knowledge of MS OfficeStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to sit or stand for long periods of timeWarehouse environment subject to variable temperature and noise levelsAbility and willingness to obtain a forklift certification (training is provided)Performance Health is a leader in consumer healthcare and the largest global manufacturer and distributor of products to the rehabilitation and sports medicine markets.
