SUMMARY :May perform all or a combination of the following duties to facilitate food and/or beverage service to guests in the food and or beverage areas of facility.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Provide friendly, prompt, and accurate food and/or beverage refreshment service to guests.Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and/or drinks.Takes orders from guests, and process order in point of sales system.Relays order to kitchen or bartender, delivers to guest appropriately.Observes guests, anticipates needs, and responds accordingly.Finalizes check.Clears and resets tables at conclusion of meal.Follows prescribed sanitary safeguards in handling all food and cleaning all surfaces.Checks out with immediate supervisor.Will abide by all safety requirements as outlined in the Safety Manual or as required by individual departments and/or job functions.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory responsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
