Perform a variety of maintenance tasks on all plantmanufacturing and support equipment to diagnose, maintain, repair, rebuild, andreplace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fire protection, steam,boiler systems, and auxiliary process equipment.
Work as part of a team in a corrugated packagingmanufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; increasinguptime, improving reliability, and decreasing waste.
Follow all governmental and company safety rules and policiesincluding OSHA Regulations, Lockout-Tagout, NEC, NFPA-70E (Arc Flash), ConfinedSpace, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), SOPI s, and Food Safety procedures.
Work with a sense of urgency to increase uptime andreliability of production equipment.
High School Graduate or GED
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must successfully complete the Maintenance InterviewProcess.
Must be willing to pursue ongoing technical training toenhance capabilities.
Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
Must be willing to work any shift, overtime, and weekends asneeded.
Must have 2+ years of troubleshooting and wiring experiencewith 3 phase 480VAC, control voltages of 120VAC and 24VDC, PLC s, AC/DC drives,process controls, and motors.
Must have 2+ years experience including mechanicaltroubleshooting of process flows, machinery, pumps, power transmission,,pneumatic systems and valves, hydraulic systems and valves, conveyor systems,compressors, large rotating equipment, boilers, and other continuous processequipment.
Proven abilities in reading and understanding mechanicaldrawings, electrical schematics, architectural drawings, and the ability tomaintain records.
Familiar with test equipment, which includes meters,micrometers, calipers, etc.
Demonstrated experience with the NEC and NFPA70E.
Must have excellent attendance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be willing and able to work independently and closelyon a day-to-day basis with production personnel.
Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems ofessential importance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handlemultiple requests simultaneously.
Working knowledge of most types of power and hand tools,
Very strong safety background
Technical degree or certificate
4+ years of mechanical, electrical, and welding maintenanceexperience in an industrial environment in the manufacturing industry,particularly within the corrugated, packaging, or paper industry.
Experience or education with PLC programming and/orjourneymen electrician concepts highly desirable
