  • Greets vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors. Operates a switchboard to route incoming calls and place outgoing calls.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Has a working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word and Lotus Notes.
  • Works under immediate supervision.
  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
  • Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

  • Qualifications for this Receptionist job:
  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
